Our Fostering Agencies

We believe that the best way to recruit, train and support foster carers, is by having small, locally focussed agencies, whose identities are formed by the staff, carers and children that are part of them.

Fostering works, and together with our 200+ foster carers, we all work every day to build positive aspirations in children who through no fault of their own have had a tough start to life. Since we started our in 1998, we have helped give a safety net, then spring board to over 4,500 children and young people. And over the years we have learnt more from the young people we’ve supported that they have from us. Each day we grow.

Our fostering family

We currently run 3 registered independent fostering agencies, all of whom have their own unique identity.

We believe that the best opportunities are created for children and young people, by being small enough to know everyone, but being able to use the resources of the larger group.

Greater London Fostering was founded in 1998, and continues to be one of the most well respected fostering agencies in London. We continue to focus on creating a family feel, whilst championing our children.

Fostering Hearst began in 2020, when a few of GLF’s foster carers decided they wanted to move to the midlands. Rather than losing them as foster carers, we decided to build and agency around them.

South Coast Fostering is our newest agency, and is focussed on recruiting foster carers along the south coast of England, from Kent, all round to Bournemouth. We have clusters, including a thriving community on the Isle of Wight.

We are currently looking to grown our family of fostering agencies so we cover all of England.
